UN Tourism has released its latest Tourism Visa Openness report, highlighting shifts in global travel regulations.
Asia and the Pacific rank highest in openness, with South East Asia, East Africa, and the Caribbean leading sub-regions. South Asia and West Africa have seen the most growth since 2018. Central and North Africa, North America, and parts of Europe remain the most restrictive regions.
The report suggests integrating tourism into visa policies, expanding visa-on-arrival options, and optimizing entry procedures to enhance the traveler experience.
